Wanda R. (Wendy)Gibbons DNP,CNM,MSN

Wendy has been practicing professionally as a nurse and nurse midwife for more than thirty years.  The focus of her practice has always been women’s health. Wendy has extensive experience in well-woman gynecology, health maintenance, obstetrics, and pregnancy care.  Wendy has experience working in a variety of practices from birth centers to collaborative care with high risk patients.  

In addition to her many years of clinical experience, Wendy has completed a doctoral degree in nursing practice in an effort to continue learning and provide a better patient care experience.  She is also focused on educating a new generation of nurses.

Wendy was born and raised in South Florida, graduating from high school in Ft. Lauderdale.  She attended the University of Florida, Emory University, and the University of Alabama.  She is also a certified yoga instructor and avid yogi.  She has two sons, a daughter (in law), and two dogs.  She and her husband are passionate about football and travel for games.
